Thank you for visiting the IAAC web site. The Illiana Antique Automobile Club is a multi-marque car club established in 1963 and headquartered in Danville, Illinois. The club currently has 80+ members from the central Illinois and Indiana area. As the name implies, the empasis of the club is on stock antique and special interest automobiles. To the right is a flyer listing our three shows for the 2008 show season. Scroll down for more details on these shows. IAAC sponsored Show Schedule for 2008
IAAC Village Mall Display - May 16,17, and 18 2008. The IAAC member antique cars and trucks will be displayed Friday through Sunday in the Danville Village Mall during normal mall hours. IAAC club members will be on hand to answer questions, describe their vehicles, and sign up new members. This inside show kicks off the IAAC show season. We look forward to seeing you there. Art on Wheels - June 21, 2008. The show is held in conjuction with Arts in the Park Festival in Lincoln Park, Danville, Illinois. Show open to all types of vehicles with prizes going to the top 60 entries based on participant votes. Registration 9:00-11:00 AM, Show from 12:00-3:00 PM. Food, music, door prizes, silent action, etc. 46th Annual Vermilion River Car Show and Swap Meet - September 20, 2008 at Ellsworth Park. Held in conjuction with Danville's Vermilion River Festival in Ellsworth Park, Danville IL. Show is judged and limited to stock, original or restored vehicles; no street rods or customs please. Registration 9:00-11:00 AM, Show from 12:00-3:00 PM. Food, music, door prizes, silent action, etc.
Club Meeting Schedule
The IAAC meets the second Thursday of every month at the Catlin Community Center at 7PM. Meetings last an hour or so and include regular business items as well as reports on recent and upcoming shows, events, tours, and sometimes a show-and-tell hard luck story. Member featured car of the month (below)
Our feature car belongs to John and Monty Reed of Hoopston, Illinois. It is a 1962 Dodge Lancer 2 door sedan. It is seen at most IAAC shows and driven regularly. It has been in the family for some time.
